Moonweave Ltd. is part of a group of textile companies based in Ayrshire Scotland. The group was started By Johnston Shields & Co. Ltd., A traditional Nottingham Lace Manufacturer, who wished to diversify its product range and service capabilities. Members of the group include Fabsheers Ltd., a warp knitting company who supply polyester and nylon plain net, pattern net, fallplate and jaquard fabrics. Milltex Fabrics Ltd. are regarded as one of the UK's leading suppliers of fabrics and accessories for blinds. They offer a variety of services aimed at the window blind manufacturer.

Moonweave Ltd. initially formed to service the local lace trade. It has grown steadily over the years in order to incorporate the roller blind fabric, and synthetic fabrics from the the knitting plant. This provided a solid knowledge base which has allowed the company to diversify by applying its experience to other products. Moonweave now handles a wide range of fabrics, from the traditional to high tech industrial and technical fabrics, which are used in numerous applications all over the world.

Although Based in Ayrshire, the majority of our customers are based in England. We maintain high standards of service by running our own transport, which pick up and deliver fabric several times a week. We are situated around 45 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport, and accommodation is available locally when required.
